International Joint Research Center on Food Security - IJC-FOODSEC

JC-FOODSEC is conducting highly impactful research on a range of aspects relating to ensuring the safe and sustainable production of food in the ASEAN region. Food security faces many challenges caused by climate change, an ever-increasing global population and many socio-economic factors. We aim to deliver research that will provide support and solutions to many actors across the food supply system, from farmers to consumers. We will achieve this by the development of strong partnerships and collaborations with research organisations, industry and governmental organisations. Mission: - Facilitate technology and expertise transfer among consortium partners and stakeholders; - Increase innovation through multidisciplinary technology applicable to the food security; - Ensure the training of future researchers to address global food security concerns; - Increase our public and international visibility
